What is the difference between micro-inverters vs. centralized inverter

Inverters take the electrical from the solar panels which is DC and converts this to AC  for your home to use. A centralized inverter will be used  when there are no obstruction issues with panels, micro-inverters will used if there are shading or obstruction issues. The micro-inverters allow each panel to operate interdependently of each other to help maximize production.

How can we get electricity from the sun?

When certain semiconducting materials, such as certain kinds of silicon, are exposed to sunlight, they release small amounts of electricity. This process is known as the photoelectric effect. The photoelectric effect refers to the emission, or ejection, of electrons from the surface of a metal in response to light.
